The White Horse Farm Inn is a 16th Century Country Inn, set on a hillside with panoramic views over the village of Rosedale Abbey, surrounded by the North Yorkshire Moors.

The bar and restaurant are full of old world charm and character featuring a roaring log fire. The bar offers a wide selection of traditional hand pulled ales, fine wines, and malt whiskies. Traditional Yorkshire Fayre is served daily, both in the cosy bar and the stylish restaurant.
The extensive menu specialises in local game, fish, and organic meats. All meals are cooked to order using only the finest ingredients. We also have a wide variety of vegetarian options and are able to cater for any special dietary needs upon request.
Located in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, a trip to Historic York will only take one hour by car and Yorkshires Heritage Coast is a mere 19 miles away.

The stylish restaurant, with its magnificent views of the valley, offers a variety of wonderful, traditional style meals, serving true Yorkshire Portions. All our meals are freshly cooked to order using the finest, locally sourced produce.

The recently renovated rooms are all unique with contemporary, relaxing colour schemes. All our rooms feature:

There are 11 rooms in total, one is a twin bedded room, there are two rooms which have a double and a single bed, therefore, can be let as a double, twin or family room. The remaining eight rooms are all doubles.
The current rates per night are £95 for the Superior Double, £80 for the Standard Double and £110 for the Family Room. These rates include full English breakfast & VAT.
Pets are allowed to stay in certain rooms, for no extra charge (by prior arrangement only).

By Car
- Take the A1 north and exit at Junction 49 onto the A168 for Thirsk/Sowerby.
- At Sowerby, take the A19 for Thirsk and continue onto the A170 for Scarborough.
- Follow the A170, and after Kirbymoorside you will see the Wrelton, Cropton, Hartoft, Rosedale turn-off. Turn left here and follow the road for about 7 miles.
- You will eventually drop down into the village of Rosedale Abbey. On your right you will see a pub called The Coach House Inn, on your left Rosedale Caravan club.
- Take the immediate left turn after the entrance to the caravan club, signposted Chimney Bank (1 in 3 hill).
- Cross the single lane stone bridge and take the sharp left hand bend.
- Follow the road for approx 300 yards, the White Horse Farm Inn is on the left hand side.
